WHAT IS GROW WITH GOMPERS?

A joint initiative of the North Mayfair Improvement Association and the Gompers Park Advisory Council, Grow with Gompers is a committee of dedicated area residents working in partnership
with the Chicago Park District to raise funds to redesign and rebuild the aging, out-dated, unsafe playground
at Gompers Park; creating a dynamic new playground where our children can safely play and our diverse community can connect. Our vision for the new playground has always gone beyond new slides and swings.By building a playground, we are building community!

Grow with Gompers is a committee of the North Mayfair Improvement Association, a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to improve our park and community for since 1929. Since 2008, the Grow with Gompers committee has actively worked towards building a new playground for our park through our partnership with the Chicago Park District and the full support of our elected officials, area families and businesses; organizing creative, community – centered programs and events to raise
awareness and funding for the playground renovation.

At this critical time so close to construction, Grow with Gompers desperately needs your contribution to close the funding gap and reach our funding goal. Let’s meet the challenge and work together to make this community improvement a reality.

Thanks to all who shopped at Whole Foods Market Sauganash on October 21 for our Community 5% Day! Whole Foods will be donating over $3900 ot the playground renovation - thank you Whole Foods Market Sauganash!!!
